Hi, I’m Chris! I currently attend Hofstra University and plan to graduate at the end of the Fall 2019 semester. I grew up on Long Island, NY and am extremely fortunate to spend the summer with the great Tanger Outlets – Foley team as their field intern. I am pursuing a degree in marketing but also have completed a dual degree program with the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) in global business. Professionally, my interests are diverse, but I am extremely interested in the growing correlation between technology, big data, and advertising.
My professional resume started with an internship at the American Museum of Natural History working in the department of African Entymology. Since then, I have explored a variety of fields. I have worked as a swim instructor, frozen yogurt vendor, movie theater manager, and market researcher for a wine distributor, so adaptability is one of my specialties! Throughout my college experience, I have held leadership positions and have been involved in several fantastic organizations. I am currently a member of the Hofstra American Marketing Association, Dean’s Business Scholars Program, and Business Mentors Program, and I am the acting vice president of my fraternity. Overall, I am always eager to jump at any opportunities to further develop my professional acumen.
It is not all work with me, though, as my hobbies are just as diverse! While I enjoy the normal things such as hanging out with friends and music, there are a lot of other activities I have dabbled in. I enjoy most sports although my favorites are basketball, ultimate frisbee, and spikeball. I also love writing, reading, and have had brief stints in sculpting and cooking. I want to live an exciting life, so I rarely say “no” to new adventures! This motto has led me to many electrifying experiences including quadding through the canyon lands of Utah, skiing down slopes I definitely wasn’t prepared for, and even hiking the Great Wall of China (that’s where the photo is from).
If I still have held your attention long enough to get the end of my monologue, I hope that you will check back here for updates on my latest journey with Tanger!
